Keeping your home well organized provides a sense of calm and satisfaction.
This can feel downright indulgent in the bathroom, where there's so much to keep track of, and function frequently takes precedence over form.
Maintain a bright, white, and open environment
The bathroom can be cramped, but one trick to making it feel larger is to keep the color scheme bright and white.
Better yet, add some open shelving. It allows you to utilize, while still seeing, every extra inch of available space. As a result, everything appears to be extra spacious.
Use Baskets and Bins to Control Under-Sink Clutter
Use baskets and storage containers to keep the cabinet beneath your sink from becoming a toiletry landfill. This will keep the space organized and satisfyingly symmetrical.
Clear containers with drawers make it simple to see (and grab) what's inside, and they're easy to stack — a great way to make things look neat and tidy.
Also, if there's empty space beneath the cabinet, slide some baskets down there as well. It was nothing more than a floor. It's now storage space.
Use Unused Space Creatively
Don't have enough room to store your unruly collection of styling tools? You do, indeed. Converting the unused space beneath the sink into a sly hidey-hole keeps them out of sight but still within easy reach.
Make Thin Air Storage
And while we're on the subject of unused space... Attach shelving to the cabinet and closet doors, which is an often-overlooked space. Hanging wire baskets make extra storage appear out of nowhere.
It also makes it easier to find all of those small bathroom items.
Label the small items to make them easier to find
In theory, a designated medicine bucket or shelf is a good idea, but who has time to rummage through cold medications and Band-Aids (and cotton balls and sunscreen, and why are there chopsticks in here) when all you need is an aspirin?
Instead, shorten your search time by categorizing items into smaller groups so that everything is easy to find.
Labeling your bins will even help you in the future.
